POSITION SUMMARY:
The Managing Director (MD) of Cervélo Cycles will lead the organization globally, with full responsibility for strategy, performance, and brand development. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance innovation in cycling technology, premium brand positioning, and operational excellence. The MD will inspire teams, foster a culture of performance and innovation, and ensure Cervélo remains at the forefront of the global cycling industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Vision and Leadership
Develop, refine and execute Cervélo's global business strategy in alignment with the Pon.Bike Group
Provide leadership and direction of overall global business functions, including Commercial, Product Development and Operations
Lead the brand's Senior Management Team in developing and executing growth strategy; effectively communicate and cascade organizational goals
Develop and execute long-term growth by expanding into new markets, channels, and categories while protecting brand equity
Champion innovation and ensure Cervélo remains a leader in bicycle engineering and performance
Deliver profitable growth across all regions and channels
Drive global sales, marketing, and distribution strategies to strengthen Cervélo's market position, by leveraging the Pon.Bike group's commercial reach and influence and collaborating effectively with global functional leaders
Ownership and management of P & L, budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization
Brand & Marketing
Protect and enhance Cervélo's brand identity as the benchmark in high-performance cycling, fulfilling the brand promise to Make Riders Faster
Lead partnerships with professional cycling teams, triathletes, and ambassadors
Expand Cervélo's presence through digital, retail, and experiential channels
Partner with R&D and product teams to drive cutting-edge design and technology
Ensure product pipeline aligns with customer needs and maintains Cervélo's leadership in performance categories
Operational Excellence
Oversee global operations, supply chain, and quality assurance to meet the expectations of elite riders
Ensure sustainability practices align with Pon.Bike's corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards
Organizational Culture and Talent
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team
Build personal credibility within the organization through effective management and interpersonal skills, sound business judgment and genuine care and concern for colleagues and employees
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven senior leadership experience, ideally as a Managing Director, CEO, or GM in the sporting goods, premium consumer goods, or cycling industry
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferred
Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability in global markets
Deep understanding of brand management, product innovation & premium positioning
Experience leading cross-functional and international teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
Previous leadership experience in global product marketing and go-to-market strategies
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Passion for cycling and endurance sports (professional or recreational involvement)
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.

SALARY RANGE: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up to $250,000 - $350,000.
