Wedbush Securities is actively hiring a Managing Director to lead ourBuilding Supplies Investment Banking vertical — one of thehighest-margin, highest-opportunity sectors in middle-market banking.This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned banker with active mandatesor qualified deal flow to take full control of their book, operatewith independence, and capitalize on our full-service platform —without waiting for layers of approvals, turf battles, orinstitutional drag.

This is Not a Learning Role — It is a Launchpad

We are only considering experienced, currently active investmentbankers who are ready to transact from day one. This is an opportunityto own a vertical and build real equity — not a junior ramp-up orbusiness development role.

This opportunity is open to candidates throughout the United States,who will report into either our New York City, San Francisco, LosAngeles, or Chicago offices.

You Will Lead:

• Origination and execution of M&A, private placements, andrecapitalizations in Building Products, Distribution, ConstructionMaterials, and adjacent industrials
• Relationships with CEOs, founders, sponsors, and family offices inthe space
• A team of skilled bankers, with the flexibility to build your ownexecution bench
• Strategic collaboration with the Head of Real Estate &Infrastructure to shape sector coverage
• Thought leadership and visibility in the sector — we'll help youamplify your voice

This Is the Role for You If...

You are tired of internal politics, deal committees, or having tofeed five levels of leadership before you get paid. You want aplatform that backs producers, rewards closers, and gives real bankersthe room to win.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required
• Has 10+ years of IB experience with an existing track record inBuilding Supplies, Industrials, Infrastructure, or adjacent verticals
• Can bring live deal flow or qualified prospects into the pipelinewithin 60–90 days
• Is known by name in the industry by key sponsors, operators, and consolidators
• Holds an active Series 79, 63 license (required); 24 (preferred)
• Wants to own a P&L and drive revenue, not just manage execution
• Thrives in performance-driven, unbureaucratic environments whereresults matter

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role hasnot been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonableestimate of the current range is $250,000. Colleagues may be eligiblefor additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on thecolleague's and the firm's performance.
