The mission of Women Building Up (WBU) is to advance gender, racial, and social justice by supporting women, girls, and gender-expansive people impacted by carceral systems. We aim to empower them to claim their power and become agents of transformative change in their communities and the world.

Reporting to and partnering with the Executive Director, the Managing Director of Grants and Resource Mobilization (MDG) is a vital member of WBU's Leadership Team. The MDG will lead, collaborate, innovate, and provide strategic direction and oversight of WBU's activities to secure financial and non-financial resources for grassroots efforts aligned with our mission. The MDG will also represent WBU in philanthropic communities, support the Executive Director in donor cultivation and organizing, and oversee all grants administration vendors and partners.
