Managing Consultant - IBM : Job Details

Managing Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted): Develop prototype Advanced Variant Configuration (aVC) models and model master data to validate key business processes. Design and build aVC models, conduct explore workshops, document results, and sign off. Design and develop Workflow, Report, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement, and Forms (WRICEF) objects related to aVC, ensure they meet business requirements. Conduct Functional Unit Testing (FUT) for custom aVC developments and create test scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT). Prepare data for mock cut-over and conduct volume testing to identify performance issues in aVC enhancements. Validate Model Master Data for production readiness and collaborate with data team. Support the client's business team during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for aVC scenarios. Develop training materials and user manuals for Model Master Data and aVC. Provide post-go-live support for Model Master Data and aVC. Ensure configuration setup and integration of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Order to Cash (OTC), SAP Advanced Available to Promise (aATP), Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (ePPDS) leveraging SAP Fiori with aVC. Address limitations in aATP, ePPDS and recommend optimized solutions to client business. Setup integrations between SAP CPQ and SAP Variant Configuration. Collaborate with the project management team to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Supervise and mentor junior consultants. Ensure project delivery. Follow Agile and SAP Activate methodologies for process demonstrations and adjustments. Provide insights on staffing, design, and data migration strategies on new projects signings. Assist the Gen AI technical team in developing workshop materials. Perform people management activities like mentoring co-workers, encourage reportees to engage in co-creation and teamwork through organized activities. Utilize SAP Variant Configuration (VC), SAP ECC 6.0, SAP Production Planning (PP), SAP Vehicle Management Systems (VMS), Agile Methodology, SAP Activate Methodology and SAP S/4HANA on-premise. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related and five (5) years of experience as a Managing Consultant, SAP Consultant, or related. Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing SAP Variant Configuration (VC), SAP ECC 6.0, SAP Production Planning (PP), SAP Vehicle Management Systems (VMS), Agile Methodology, SAP Activate Methodology and SAP S/4HANA on-premise. $152,859 to $175,000 per year.
