JOB SUMMARY:
Manage maintenance personnel, activities, and budgets in assigned area of responsibility, including all labor and non-labor resources to maintain superior show quality and customer satisfaction. Support initiatives to continuously improve guest and employee safety.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all aspects of the facilities maintenance program within the assigned area, including planned, quick call, discretionary, and emergency repair work, as well as comprehensive asset life-cycle management. Develop and refine maintenance standards and maintain all OSHA and Universal Quality Standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, performance management, and recognition to staff.
- Plan, prepare, and manage assigned capital and expense budgets.
- Secure reliable and cost-effective contracted services through scope development, competitive bidding, and contract oversight.
- Establish and maintain cross-departmental relationships to ensure high standards of guest experience, show quality, and operational readiness.
- Participate actively in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in management or a technical discipline preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of experience in construction, operation, and maintenance management of a large (500+ acres) Theme Park.
- 5+ years of extensive experience in maintenance management of a Theme Park or relevant experience, including 5+ years of supervisory responsibilities.
- Or an equivalent combination of education.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Maintenance Management Certification preferred.
- General Contractor license preferred.
- Technical Certification/License preferred.
