Position Purpose: Manages daily operations in the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed to meet organizational needs. Monitors systems performance and provides recommendations as required.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading activities to plan, design, build, install, and monitor servers, virtualization environments, and server infrastructure such as Active Directory, monitoring and administration systems, and other supporting technologies.
• Overseeing budgets and implementing new technologies as needed.
• Providing technical support and guidance in troubleshooting hardware/software issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Managing an on-call function for 24/7 response to critical issues.
• Developing expertise in technical domains and demonstrating thought leadership.
• Reporting status updates to senior management regularly.
• Collaborating with external vendors for IT procurement and issues.
• Working with internal stakeholders to contribute to technical strategy and recommend industry best practices.
• Mentoring and guiding staff, managing hiring, training, performance reviews, and providing leadership and coaching.
• Sharing knowledge and developing staff to enhance understanding of system engineering, business issues, and best practices.
• Developing organizational objectives, inspiring and motivating team members.
• Maintaining and sharing SLA and service metrics.
• Performing other duties as assigned and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant knowledge, duties, scope, and skills.

Technical Skills: Experience with Systems Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering is desired.

Pay Range: $100,900.00 - $186,800.00 per year.
