The CRC Accounting Department is seeking to fill a Manager - System Administration position. This position will be located in Santa Clarita or Long Beach, CA.

The base annual salary for this posted position is expected to range from $110K - $130K, with a target annual bonus of 15% of base salary and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership skills such as mentoring, coaching, and collaboration to System Admin team for core area
  • Responsible for overseeing critical modules and month end close process for the Oracle ERP environment, including security, user access / controls, application configurations, and month end close process:
    • Oracle E-Business Suite R12 including:
      • Core Financials: GL, AR, AP, FA, CE, PA, XTR
      • P2P: Purchasing, iSupplier, iProcurement, Contracts, INV
      • GRC (Gov, Risk & Compliance)
    • Oracle WebADI
    • Oracle EBTax
    • Oracle HFM / FMD / Planning
    • Oracle Discoverer
    • More4Apps
  • Supports month-end processes within Oracle modules e.g. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Projects, etc.
  • Manage accounts, credentials, and system permissions to ensure proper access, security, and segregation of duties for systems and data.
  • Test systems to confirm that functionality meets requirements and works as expected. Manages pre-production environments to accommodate various uses. Test application integrity and performance after routine maintenance and unplanned outages.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users and administrators, resolve issues, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Monitor system performance, find bottlenecks or opportunities for process or automation improvements within system environment.
  • Conduct scoping engagements for systems projects as well as small efforts, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables within cost objectives.
  • Consult with IT, Business or other technical teams to understand requirements or problems. Translate into functional requirements. Works with IT to help confirm technical specifications.
  • Lead or assist with cross-functional teams on projects related to company-wide system enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or customizations.
  • Works closely with IT teams and business partners to document application inventory, technology stack, and roadmaps for each application under supervision.
  • Work closely with business partners to provide data, documents, or reports for external audits or regulatory compliance.
  • Creates reports for these and other applications as needed.
  • Works together with Service Desk who may escalate support issues. Uses ticketing system to manage incidents.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies as assigned.
  • Analyze costs and benefits and provides reporting as needed.
  • Other related responsibilities as may be needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 10+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with the following applications:
    • Oracle E-Business Suite R12
    • Oracle Hyperion HFM /FDM/ Planning
    • Oracle iSupplier & iProcurement
    • Tax applications
  • Strong understanding of Ownership-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT) and Oracle RDBMS, ability to construct well-written SQL queries, and experienced with PL/SQL.
  • Strong experience with compliance or regulatory requirements of internal audit and system SDLC requirement.
  • Must demonstrate excellent understanding of disciplines that support the application environment including virtualization, storage, networks, operating systems, and server platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with employees at all levels of the company. An excellent communicator.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
  • Experience with finance and accounting business processes.
  • Experience with IFS Enterprise Upstream (EU) Revenue and JVA is desired.
