PRIMARY FUNCTION:
ChristianaCare is seeking a seasoned and motivated Technology leader with deep expertise in Workday maintenance and upgrades, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain business processes. In this role, you will oversee the internal application maintenance strategy for our Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. You will lead a team responsible for managing both in-house and third-party software solutions that support our critical supply chain operations; while also cultivating relationships with vendors to ensure we maximize the value of these partnerships.
This position requires close collaboration with the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) and the supply chain leadership team. You will leverage your comprehensive knowledge of technology, the Workday platform, and supply chain domain expertise to deliver innovative solutions that keep ChristianaCare at the forefront of supply chain excellence. As a trusted partner to the Supply Chain team, you will help shape and drive the direction of our internal tools and mission-critical business processes.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be strategically and operationally accountable for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) ERP applications.
Provide oversight of day-to-day operations, ensuring risk management and high service quality within supply chain systems.
Manages the Supply Chain support team responsible for all technology applications, operational day-to-day support, including 24x7 and planned/project work as part of the Supply Chain technology roadmap.
Lead formal communications with supply chain stakeholders and escalate issues to the Steering Committee as needed.
Manage contractual relationships, including scope, pricing, and change orders, for supply chain technology solutions.
Oversee relationships with product vendors, escalating issues as necessary to ensure optimal vendor performance.
Facilitate coordination with leads across supply chain functions, as well as with boundary and third-party system owners.
Collect and analyze key metrics and KPIs related to supply chain technology performance.
Manage new releases for fixes, enhancements, upgrades, and annual business cycles for supply chain applications.
Coordinate with SCM applications, business, integration, and configuration teams, both internal and external.
Oversee ongoing small to medium enhancements, including testing and migration, for supply chain systems.
Manage the schedule for POD refreshes related to supply chain applications.
Review weekly releases, assess potential impacts, and coordinate necessary actions for supply chain systems.
Maintain overall release plans and coordinate releases across SCM and associated applications.
Lead incremental supply chain technology projects as they arise.
SCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS:
Maintains regular contact with all levels of ChristianaCare caregivers, vendors, outside consultants, IT analysts and support teams. Frequent contact with senior management within the Finance, Supply Chain and HR departments.
DIRECTION/SUPERVISION OF OTHERS:
Manages the Supply Chain technology team and provides day-to-day guidance on all support aspects to the business
Works closely with the Finance Support and HR Shared Services Technology teams and their leaders as needed. Provides coordination between project teams for application and related projects, identifying potential conflicts of strategic direction and developing solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, HR Management, or related field required
Five years of IT management experience of SaaS platform vendors and Enterprise applications
Five years' experience managing highly functional IT support teams supporting business critical systems
Experience supporting Workday Supply Chain with full life cycle or equivalent experience in ERP applications.
Ten or more years of progressive leadership experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Strong understanding of supply chain business processes and organizational priorities.
Proven leadership skills in technology and operations.
High-level knowledge of healthcare solutions within Workday and related applications.
Expertise in application management service delivery for supply chain systems.
Deep understanding of supply chain business processes.
Advanced knowledge of ERP applications, particularly in supply chain, Workday experience preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
Experience with service management and change management.
Cloud delivery experience is highly desirable.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective influencer and negotiator, able to communicate the big picture in an inspiring way.

Frequent sitting and working on PC for extended periods with intermittent standing, walking, light lifting and carrying.
