How will you make your mark?

We are seeking a Cloud Quality Engineering Manager who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your focus will be to build a highly efficient quality team, manage resources, and oversee the delivery of test automation supporting new features and regression testing. You will be responsible for achieving measurable functional, operational, and strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enhance the quality engineering team to deliver high-quality, performant, accurate, and reliable automation.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to quality engineering staff.
  • Supervise the development of test plans, test cases, and automation procedures.
  • Lead code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards.
  • Apply expert knowledge to resolve complex technical issues within established policies.
  • Manage activities of individual contributors and managers.
  • Advise senior management on policy development and organizational goals.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor operational activities; support staff recruitment and development.
  • Advocate for customer needs and product quality within the organization.
  • Facilitate technical deep-dives and cross-training sessions.
  • Manage people-care activities, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Extensive experience in quality engineering leadership or similar roles across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong background in designing, developing, and delivering engineering products and services with high quality.
  • Experience testing microservices, cloud systems, Kubernetes, and SaaS offerings.
  • Prior experience in product development, deployment, and ownership.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EKS, EC2, CloudFront, RDS) and/or other cloud providers like Azure and GCP.
  • Experience with scalable enterprise-grade SaaS API platforms and modern API development/testing principles.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and transformation.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, including partnering with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and testing tools like Selenium.
  • Experience with storage, compute, networking, virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware), databases (SQL/NoSQL), REST APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), Linux environments, and testing frameworks (Pytest, TestNG, JUnit).

Qualifications:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; electrical or computer engineering preferred. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 10+ years of related work experience, including 3+ years in people management.
