Adecco Creative is partnering with one of NYC's most iconic fashion brands to recruit for a Site Experience, Manger position. This position will be hybrid in Midtown Manhattan and is a 6-month contract. Candidates who can start immediately and are located in the New York City area are encouraged to apply.

Primary Purpose: The Site Manager of Merchandising will manage and support the team responsible for the execution of site strategies to help achieve the financial and performance targets for the business.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in eCommerce to:

  • Serve as business lead managing site merchandising and maintenance to ensure a best-in class shopping experience for our customers
  • Oversee daily operations of the websites including product and navigation, day-to-day merchandising and business trend analysis
  • Oversee merchandising of PLPs based on data insights, inventory, newness, marketing, and trends
  • Leverage digital customer and product insights to define product and category strategy
  • Partner with Buying team in reviewing product flows, priority skus and inventory positions
  • Keep a pulse on competitive landscape to help inform future strategies and brainstorming efforts
  • Analyze demand reporting with data analytics tools to recap weekly/quarterly ecom business performance
  • Leverage business analysis & strong understanding of digital KPIs to track selling, identify key trends & maximize opportunities in the assortment to achieve growth & profitability
  • Participate in weekly team meetings with cross functional partners to better understand business results and inform brainstorming efforts
  • Develop cross functional relationships with key partners to optimize site experience and drive sales
  • Encourage collaboration across ecom team functions to drive cohesive site experience
  • Collaborate with PIM/SFCC and IT teams to identify opps for enhancements and address bugs
  • Maintain relationships with buying/COE to ensure clear communication of product strategy (ie: drops)
  • Partner with marketing to develop deeper understanding of each channels customer behavior, aimed at optimize landing experiences
  • Provide leadership, innovation and process optimization to drive efficiency and growth
  • Analyze existing reporting processes to identify areas where efficiency can be enhanced, data accuracy can be improved, or new reporting tools can be implemented
  • Identify areas of process opportunities throughout monthly upload process and beyond, revising to maximize efficiency

The accomplished individual will possess:

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in eCommerce or eCommerce merchandising/buying preferably fashion and/or retail background (or related industry)
  • 2+ years of people management preferred
  • Passion for eCommerce is a must
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy required; a thirst for learning and success
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to effectively interact with team members and cross functional network across all levels
  • Demonstrate strong logical analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; able to organize, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent product sensibility and ability to merchandise site in a visually appealing way
  • Must have strong Excel skills (i.e., knowledge of vlookups and pivot tables)
  • Proficient with Google Analytics, Tableau & knowledge of digital KPIs
  • Demandware/SFCC/Plumslice or other site merchandising catalog a plus
