• The Manager, Security Management System will serve as the SeMS facilitator and enterprise-wide focal point for SeMS.
• Manage the development, administration, maintenance, promotion, and continuous improvement of the SeMS and related security publications.
• Provide leadership with overviews of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to support decision-making at the officer level.
• This role is part of the Corporate Security team within the Government Affairs group.

What You'll Do

• Manage a team of Sr. Analysts to ensure compliance with corporate policies related to IOSA Security Management System.
• Provide security risk management support, evaluate operations and new business opportunities, and lead cross-functional teams on strategic projects.
• Use security data to identify operational inefficiencies and implement mitigation strategies.
• Partner with enterprise departments to drive SeMS implementation and monitor success.
• Collaborate on project plans, support strategic initiatives, and own key work streams.
• Deliver reports and presentations on security data to senior leadership.
• Prepare and present security threat assessments and mitigation strategies to senior management.
• Engage with frontline staff, unions, government agencies, and regulators regularly.
• Review and update SeMS policies, procedures, and training materials, coordinating changes with relevant teams.
• Lead security communications and promote SeMS enterprise-wide.
• Serve as liaison with IOSA/IATA and government regulators regarding SeMS matters.
• Provide security threat overviews to support operational decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and policies related to SeMS.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Security Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant Security Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in management, business administration, Security Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with airline operations.

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

• IATA SeMS or Security certification.
• Risk or Threat Assessment certification.
• Experience in security threat and vulnerability identification.
• Risk management expertise.
• Strong teamwork and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and root cause analysis.
