**JOB SUMMARY**

As a member of the Sunnyside Retail Marketing team, you will work to develop and promote a national, best-in-class loyalty program at our dispensaries. The program and any short-term plans in the interim that you will lead with the Director of Retail Marketing overseeing will be designed to not only retain our customer base, but also to drive revenue growth. Leveraging your marketing and customer user experience, you will provide vision and direction to the UX and creative teams to bring to life and promote a branded loyalty experience. You will have a strong partnership with many cross-functionals such as Dev, Tech, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Retail Ops to ensure our loyalty activations address our business and financial needs in a compliant and legal manner.

**CORE JOB DUTIES**

* Assist in the development and implementation of the Sunnyside loyalty program and the marketing and branding of the program to all retail markets.

* Manage multiple marketing projects per direction of marketing leadership related to retaining loyal customers.

* Partner with a cross-functional team (tech/dev, legal, finance, ecomm, ops) and agencies to help build impactful loyalty marketing programs.

* Analyze and report on sales metrics, market trends, competitive activity, consumer insights and other data to strengthen ongoing brand projects and strategy.

* Track loyalty-related marketing expenses throughout the year to manage within the given budget and to determine liability in points for the business.

* Grow your knowledge regularly through research, team member 1:1s, and identify opportunities to share best practices with the broader team.

* Be the champion for the Sunnyside customer.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS**

* Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.

* 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on loyalty programs and customer retention, experience in retail marketing preferred

* Ability to perform and thrive in environments with minimal process and structure, and comfort with managing through ambiguity.

* Strong bias for action, you can identify a problem and mobilize to solve it.

* Comfortable understanding business priorities and balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders

* Establishes clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results

* Proven project management skills.

* Strong numerical and analytical skill set with ability to interpret quantitative data.

* Strong communication skills (exceptional listening skills, persuasive and professional communicator).

* Entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

* Genuine interest in and passion for marketing, loyalty and the cannabis industry is required.
