Job Description:

Plans, directs, and coordinates quality activities of a designated Clinical Customer Focused Team to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved within prescribed timeframes and budgets. Select, supervise, empower, coach, develop, and retain a team of qualified individuals including Quality Specialists and Quality Coordinators, partnering with the Sr. Clinical Project Manager to deliver quality products on time. Drive project success through active leadership to provide PCI a competitive advantage in long-term quality customer management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Select, supervise, empower, coach, develop, and retain a team of qualified individuals through effective employee development, performance management, succession planning, and recognition.
  • Ensure the appropriate team structure by performing workload analysis to manage headcount and meet customer and business commitments.
  • Establish quality team and individual goals aligned with Clinical Customer Focused Team goals and customer requirements.
  • Ensure strong alignment and coordination with other business units and functional groups. Collaborate on best practices with other Clinical Quality Managers and leadership.
  • Facilitate daily team performance to meet goals and objectives, fostering a culture of safety, quality, performance, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage training and development, including cross-training and onboarding of new employees.
  • Support customer audits, visits, and conference calls. Develop systemic corrective actions for deviations noted.
  • Oversee investigations, consumer complaints, CAPAs, DEA activities, NMR issues, etc.
  • Collaborate to manage team performance metrics and customer scorecard.
  • Coordinate and facilitate customer Quarterly Business Reviews with Account Executives and Sr. Project Managers.
  • Provide proactive quality assurance and risk assessments using FMEA, HCCAP, and Quality by Design methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to PCI and cGMP policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
  • Supervise 10 employees.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Statistical and advanced mathematical skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, capable of performing complex tasks and operating various programs.
  • Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
  • High reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.

Preferred:

  • Project accomplishment experience.

For Illinois residents: The salary range is $77,600-$87,300 plus eligibility for a 10% annual performance bonus. Final offers depend on experience, education, credentials, location, and expertise.
