Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Procurement System Manager to lead and manage the Health System's procurement operations, including oversight of a non-acute offsite warehouse. This key management role is responsible for fiscal and personnel management, developing and implementing departmental objectives, policies, and procedures, and fostering effective communication within and across departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and direct Procurement System Analysts to optimize supply chain productivity and communication across the Health System and its affiliates.
Analyze current procurement systems using data-driven insights and recommend improvements.
Utilize a variety of data analysis and organizational tools to identify impactful operational insights.
Enhance training and operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Oversee procurement system implementation projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Support the development and successful execution of annual operating and capital budgets, considering alternative economic scenarios.
Evaluate current and new programs for cost-effectiveness and quality value.
Stay current with federal and state safety regulations relevant to procurement and warehouse operations.
Collaborate with various departments to maintain an effective and responsive inventory chain within the Health System.
Partner with other Supply Chain Managers to maximize overall supply chain success.
Lead special projects and serve as a resource to administration on product lines and other assignments.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Required).
Minimum of 3 years' management experience (Required).
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (Preferred).
