What will you do asaManager Process Engineering?

Together with yourmultidisciplinary engineering team, you will lead and drive the engineeringstrategy within our dynamic pharmaceutical production environment. You combineyour technical expertise with interpersonal coaching and strategic leadership,ensuring strong stakeholder management and influencing leadership skills tocollaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, Facilities, EHS, and thebroader global engineering function.

Your guidance willensure the successful implementation of process engineering projects, fosteringa culture of innovation and excellence while collaborating effectively withdiverse teams to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Your keyresponsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate as a key member of theEngineering Management Team, contributing to the overall engineeringvision and strategy within the pharmaceutical production environment.
• Multidisciplinary Team Leadership: Lead a diverse team of engineers(Process, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical) to drive technical standardizationand efficiency improvements, ensuring flawless execution of engineeringprojects.
• Engineering Excellence: Foster a culture of technicalexcellence and innovation, encouraging cross-functional learning andsharing best practices to elevate project outcomes and drive operationalefficiency.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering processesadhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements,maintaining product reliability and simplicity in maintenance.
• Sustainability and Continuous Improvement: Integrate sustainable practices intoengineering projects, actively minimizing environmental impact whilepromoting a culture of continuous improvement through feedback and teamcollaboration.
• Mentorship and Team Development : Develop and mentor engineers within theteam, providing opportunities for professional growth and skillsenhancement while actively participating in initiatives that promoteinclusion and build a high-performing engineering team. Foster a cultureof technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation, enablingcross-functional learning and sharing of best practices to enhance teamcapabilities and performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Utilize strong stakeholdermanagement and influencing leadership skills to enhance collaborationacross Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, Facilities, EHS, and the broaderglobal engineering function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Innovation and Automation Planning: Proactively identify and assessupcoming innovations and projects in the coming years, including potentialinitiatives on life cycle management, automation, compliance, andstrategic investments that enable the production and research of existingand new projects within the J&J network.

• University level of thinking and working,with a technical engineering educational background complemented by aminimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering and leadershipresponsibilities within the pharmaceutical or industrial sector.
• Technical and leadership skills: Strongtechnical knowledge of system requirements and design principles, combinedwith experience in inspiring and coaching teams to reach their fullpotential.
• Communication and problem-solving:Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively withstakeholders and an analytical mindset to find innovative solutions tocomplex issues.
