Job Description: Manager of Global Supply Chain Contracts
This position requires a highly motivated and experienced leader with a background in Supply Chain Management within the US Aerospace and Defense industry. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience with the FAR and DFARS, along with a strong understanding of subcontract terms, negotiations, and supplier management.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the vision, people, and processes of the Global Supply Chain Contracts team to ensure business objectives are met.Ensure subcontract terms and conditions are compliant with customer requirements and company policy.Review and approve subcontract terms and conditions with a focus on obtaining optimal outcomes for the company and its customers.Provide guidance to direct reports and stakeholders on supplier contract terms and conditions.Prioritize work proactively in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment without sacrificing quality.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Global Supply Chain Contracts team and meet KPI targets.Interact with the Global Supply Chain Contracts team, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and other internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Conduct briefings for internal/external stakeholders, including customers, and coordinate with peers to support the vision for 1LMX.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Leadership experience
- Supplier negotiation experience
- Comprehensive experience with FAR and DFARS
Desired Skills:
- Advanced degree (Masters, JD)
- DOD Secret Clearance
- Experience with DFARS sourcing, claims, disputes, remedy, and risk management
- Experience supporting government audits
- Experience in contracts, business operations, strategy, or finance within the aerospace or defense sector
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills
