Our lighter-than-air high-altitude platform systems (LTA HAPS) are capable of maintaining position over an operational area in the stratosphere (altitudes of 18 – 21km). They can carry multiple telecommunications, imaging and remote sensing payloads, providing unique functionality, cost, environmental and societal advantages.

Our HAPS be deployed in a matter of days and at a fraction of the cost of traditional infrastructure solutions. This makes them an ideal solution for providing telecommunications connectivity, emergency solutions in the event of natural or other disasters, environmental and infrastructure monitoring, Earth observation and a range of defense applications.

About the Position:

Sceye is seeking a driven and analytical Manager of Finance & Strategy who will play an integral role in propelling Sceye as we scale up our organization and enter new verticals and geographies. The position will report directly to the Company's CFO and support Sceye's executive team as we develop and execute our strategy and make capital deployment and formation decisions. The role will lead Sceye's financial and strategic planning efforts, help ideate and execute mission-critical business initiatives, and serve as an integral link between our business development, accounting, engineering and operations teams.The role will focus on developing dynamic financial models to create data-driven projections integrating historical trends, market conditions, and key business drivers to provide insights that support decision-making and capital raising.

We are seeking candidates that are self-driven analytical thinkers and who thrive in dynamic environments. Ideal candidates will bring experience from investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, or in-house corporate finance rolea with high-performance start ups or Fortune-500 equivalent companies, and be eager to step into a leadership position at a mission-driven, fast-growing company.

This is a high-visibility role with strong growth potential as Sceye continues to scale.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead company-wide financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Support and manage capital raising efforts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop complex and dynamic financial and operational models to support investment and strategic decisions, such investments in technologies and equipment, or entering new market verticals or strategic partnerships.
  • Prepare and present materials for capital raising and manage investment processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with organizational objectives
  • Conduct competitive, market, and industry analyses to support company positioning and growth plans

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • 4–8 years of experience in:
  • Investment banking
  • In-house corporate finance or corporate development roles with high-performance start ups or Fortune-500 equivalent companies
  • Demonstrated success in:
  • Developing complex, dynamic financial and operating models
  • Capital raising and investor relations
  • Financial planning & strategic analysis
  • M&A transactions
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven
  • Comfortable in a high-growth, high-ambiguity environment
  • Open to a remote work arrangement within the U.S., but must be willing and able to travel as needed
  • Due to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR/EAR), this position requires eligibility to access export-controlled technical data. Candidates must be U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the U.S.).
