Manager of Corporate Giving and Special Events - Girl Scouts of North East Ohio : Job Details

The Manager, Corporate Giving and Special Events leads all components of GSNEO signature fundraising events and other fund development events. Responsible for event design, production, and execution of events that create a fun and inspiring experiences for guests. Develops and implements fundraising strategies to reach revenue goals. Identify, cultivate, and solicit corporate sponsors; identify, provide stewardship for existing donors. Collaborates across GSNEO departments to ensure all events have a strong mission component.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or experience commensurate with degree and

three to five years related experience

• High-level computer literacy and proficiency with fundraising databases and the MS Office suite of software applications. Experience using DonorPerfect or similar fundraising software required
• Record of successfully developing and managing volunteers
• Strong human relations skills such as leadership, networking and relationship building
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion; ability to work with individuals with a variety of backgrounds and abilities; ability to work effectively with a diverse employee, volunteer, and donor population
• Ability to work flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends
