Job Summary

The Manager of Certification Products – Test Development will oversee activities related to APICS Certification programs, including test development, item writing, and committee management for APICS credentials. The role also involves managing activities related to the development and maintenance of the ASCM Standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication, planning, and technical skills within a non-profit organization that values its employees.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college
• At least 1 year of experience in association environments such as test development, certification, or member services
• Proficiency in MS Office, databases, spreadsheets, and web research

Desired:

• Project management experience
• Product development experience
• Customer relations and time management skills
• Background in educational testing and assessment

Responsibilities

• Manage test development processes, including collaboration with certification committees and vendors
• Oversee product development for ASCM Standards, including content updates and GUI enhancements
• Manage exam review and publication, including psychometric data analysis
• Facilitate key meetings such as Job Task Analyses and standards updates
• Interact with certification database systems and generate reports
• Respond to candidate and volunteer inquiries
• Maintain certification web content and ensure compliance with standards and policies
• Lead certification and test development projects
• Other duties as assigned
