In 2025, more than 5M+ fans will enter our gates, and we aspire to make every fan's experience memorable.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Manager of FP&A to join our growing team, with a specialized focus on our concessions and merchandise operations across all Diamond Baseball Holdings clubs. This critical role will be responsible for leading our financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical efforts for these key revenue centers, providing strategic insights to drive business performance and support key decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail and food & beverage financial modeling within a event-driven environment, and possess excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations for key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process for Concessions and Merchandise Retail, collaborating with club General Managers and operational teams to develop comprehensive and accurate financial plans.
• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for concessions and merchandise, identifying potential risks and opportunities related to sales trends, inventory, and cost of goods sold, and recommending corrective actions.
• Create detailed financial models for new product lines, retail strategies, concession offerings, and vendor partnerships, including ROI analysis and profitability projections.
• Prepare and present monthly and annual financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key variances and trends specific to concessions and merchandise revenue and cost centers.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide insightful commentary on drivers of financial performance, such as per-capita spending, product mix, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the concessions and merchandise business (e.g., per-capita spend, gross margin by category, inventory turnover, labor efficiency, average transaction value).
• Analyze historical sales, inventory, and cost data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in retail and food & beverage operations.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to club operations, retail managers, and corporate teams, providing financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, inventory management, and resource allocation within concessions and merchandise.
• Support business development efforts by providing financial modeling and analysis for potential new retail concepts, merchandise lines, or concession vendor agreements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities specifically for retail and concessions.
• Leverage financial systems (e.g., Netsuite, Tableau, SQL) to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency for merchandise and food & beverage data.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and dashboards for detailed analysis of concessions and merchandise performance.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience within the events, hospitality, or project-based industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Advanced Excel modeling skills (e.g., pivot tables, python, data integrations, scenario analysis).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in an event driven environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
