DescriptionAssistant Manager - Financial Planning & AnalysisFull-Time EmploymentNew York, NYHere's how you'll become a key player with this opportunity:As the Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis, you'll support key strategic initiatives through financial modeling, prepare high-impact reports and presentations, and help lead the firm's budget process and variance reporting. You'll work cross-functionally to analyze firm performance, guide department initiatives, and contribute to projects that shape the firm's financial decision-making.Here's how you'll make an impact on the team:•Assist and support key strategic initiatives with financial modeling and data mining analysis•Prepare impactful visual presentations of complex data•Develop new approaches to integrate data for critical business intelligence•Help analyze firm profitability, including business models for practice areas•Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual management reports and ad hoc requests•Manage the annual budget and reforecast process and related analyses•Perform detailed monthly expense analyses and variance explanations•Liaise with Branch Office/Department Heads to improve financial analysis•Manage project improvement initiatives across multiple departments•Provide system support for data extraction and loading•Maintain firm and client information security policiesHere's what you'll need to be successful in this role:•Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting)•At least eight years of experience in a senior or manager capacity•Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Oracle Hyperion Essbase•Knowledge of SQL and legal/professional services database structure•Experience with various IT/accounting systems (Elite 3E a plus)•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills•Proven project management, communication, and interpersonal skills•Ability to work independently and with all levels of firm personnel and clientsHere's what else might help you out:•Management and/or experience in the legal industry or professional servicesBenefits That Matter to You:•Vacation•Firm Holidays•Floating Holidays•Paid Sick Days•Medical and Dental Plan•401(k) Savings Plan•Child Care Leave•Adoption Assistance•Disability Coverage•Life and Accident Insurance•On-site Emergency Day Care•Child Care Referral Service•Employee Assistance Program•Discounted Health Club Memberships•Transportation Fringe Benefits•Employee Discounts•Tuition Reimbursement•On-site Subsidized Cafeteria•Business Casual Dress PolicyReady to take the next step?
