Reporting to the President, North America, the Manager, Facilities & Maintenance will manage store maintenance budgets for Canada Goose's retail stores, procure and negotiate contracts related to on-going store maintenance initiatives, implement processes and procedures to streamline day to day facility operations, all while maintaining environments that are engaging, inviting, collaborative and cohesive. The Manager, Facilities & Maintenance will also be actively involved in bringing special projects and minor works across North America's DTC and wholesale channels.What You'll Do
- Forecast and manage the OPEX budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and remain under budget for both Retail Store & wholesale Shop in shop projects
- Submit Weekly Maintenance Updates &s Quarterly Status Reports to Steering Committees and other stakeholders for both SIS / Retail Maintenance projects
- Manage Canada Goose's asset inventory in North American storage facilities through highly organized inventory trackers
- Secure and onboard new vendors, while managing existing vendor expectations and relations; partner with Finance to ensure vendor payments are tracked, processed, and accrued
- Continuously develop and implement strategic processes (trackers, calendars, reports, etc.) to ensure efficiency and departmental organization
- Acts as a primary point of contact with landlords, building management, and outside facilities vendors for all store level maintenance, leasehold improvement projects and repair related inquiries
- Acts as the project lead for all retail store level repairs and replacements including on-going maintenance contracts to
- Maintain an attractive, productive, and fully operational retail experience for guests and employees of Canada Goose
- Actively participate in the prevention of accidents and promote a safe working environment by working with Retail Operations to develop, implement and maintain emergency procedures for all retail stores
- Consult with key stakeholders to develop, implement, review, and maintain corporate maintenance standards for all retail stores
- Assist in the management and development of the facilities budget, and capital expenditures
- Maintain an up to date floor/seating plan for all retail stores
- Always Ensure lease compliance with Fire and Life safety requirements
- Provide the best experience for employees, clients, guests, and prospective candidates by maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Be a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee
Let's Talk About You
- Minimum 3 years of facilities management and build out experience in a high growth organization
- Previous leadership and people management experience
- Experience working with vendors, facility companies, contractors, landlords, and building management companies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly organized with an ability to multi-task, establish priorities, set and maintain deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Team player with a key understanding of cross functional partnerships both internally and externally
- Ability to be flexible and react to the ever-changing needs of the retail business
- Embraces continuous improvement by proposing new and/or efficient processes and procedures
- Consistently exhibits Canada Goose's Values, taking pride in being innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial while exhibiting personal commitment
- Ability to read lease agreements, and ensure Canada Goose is compliant
- Strong project management skills and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and decision-making abilities

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to get things done
- Knowledge of Procore
- Experience with establishing facility maintenance software/ticketing platform
- Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time
