Manager, Engineering - ASSA ABLOY Group : Job Details

Engineering Manager needed on-site in Kenosha, WI.

• Provide support to operations for current products to assure product quality and minimize costs
• Establish & maintain documentation on all current products
• Oversee engineers receiving special requests and product changes
• Seek opportunities to improve overall quality and competitiveness

• Work closely with internal and external customers and suppliers, including technical support
• Assist Production and Quality teams with defects and implement countermeasures
• Support teams with finding root causes, solutions, and implementing changes to resolve problems
• Lead the design, development, support, and improvement of existing products
• Directly supervise employees

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or a related field
• 5-7+ years of engineering-related experience, with a strong background in manufacturing
• Previous experience in an engineering leadership role preferred
• Significant hands-on experience with products, able to recognize problems, predict outcomes, and implement countermeasures quickly
• Advanced experience with CAD and product design
• Experience with JD Edwards preferred
• Professional engineering licensure
