Engineering Manager needed on-site in Kenosha, WI.
OPERATIONS
- Provide support to operations for current products to assure product quality and minimize costs
- Establish & maintain documentation on all current products
- Oversee engineers receiving special requests and product changes
- Seek opportunities to improve overall quality and competitiveness
SUPPORT & LEADERSHIP
- Work closely with internal and external customers and suppliers, including technical support
- Assist Production and Quality teams with defects and implement countermeasures
- Support teams with finding root causes, solutions, and implementing changes to resolve problems
- Lead the design, development, support, and improvement of existing products
- Directly supervise employees
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or a related field
- 5-7+ years of engineering-related experience, with a strong background in manufacturing
- Previous experience in an engineering leadership role preferred
- Significant hands-on experience with products, able to recognize problems, predict outcomes, and implement countermeasures quickly
- Advanced experience with CAD and product design
- Experience with JD Edwards preferred
- Professional engineering licensure
