The expected salary range for this position is $156,600 to $174,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manage the engineering function with accountability for station needs and regulatory compliance.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee the engineering function concerning station requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the performance and development of engineering personnel to meet site and corporate objectives, ensuring high-quality engineering results.
  • Provide engineering and technical leadership for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations.
  • Participate in business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews related to assigned staff.
  • Contribute as a senior resource for NGG-wide programs to standardize and improve engineering systems and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including emergency response, outage support, and cross-departmental support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Nuclear) or related science, or a Professional Engineer license, or an active/inactive SRO license with 5 years of engineering or related experience, including at least 1 year in a nuclear power plant.
  • Must meet requirements outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard regarding personnel qualification for nuclear power plants.
  • Maintain access requirements and pass medical examinations/tests as applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineer registration.
  • Nuclear experience, especially with mechanical systems.
  • Advanced degree, such as an MBA.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience.
  • HIGHLY PREFERRED: BOP (Balance of Plant) experience and nuclear licenses or certifications.
