As the Dangerous Goods Manager, you will oversee and support the dangerous goods program, helping us achieve company and customer objectives. What You'll Do On a Typical Day

  • Maintain, coordinate, and communicate dangerous goods processes and procedures
  • Review, administer, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Stay updated on hazardous materials/dangerous goods legislation
  • Conduct audits of facility requirements related to dangerous goods
  • Develop and communicate dangerous goods programs and initiatives
  • Evaluate impacts on business processes and advise leadership
  • Lead meetings, training, and continuing education

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a Minimum, You'll Need

  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles
  • Availability for flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Certified IATA Dangerous Goods by Air, 49 CFR, US DOT DG by Road, IMDG, International Maritime Dangerous Goods by Sea
  • 5 years of recent DG shipping experience
  • Experience with carrier shipping programs (UPS - WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager)
  • Understanding of industry-related regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field
  • Strong time and project management skills
