Manager/Controller - Outsourced Accounting Services
We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join our Outsourced Accounting practice at EisnerAmper. This team helps our clients transform their organizations through a collaborative approach that mitigates risk, overcomes challenges, meets deadlines, and supports workforce needs.
Position Details:
- This is a hybrid position, requiring work at our local office or client location as needed, with availability in Eastern and/or Central time zones.

Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating client needs and recommending project approaches
- Participating in engagement planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Managing outsourced controller/CFO projects, including overseeing daily accounting functions, month-end closing, and financial statement preparation
- Researching technical accounting issues and formulating resolutions
- Implementing improvements to clients' internal controls and processes
- Analyzing trends, developing solutions, and managing client relationships
- Managing staffing, project budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of services
- Collaborating across service lines to develop comprehensive client solutions
- Leading and supervising staff, providing coaching and professional development
Basic qualifications:
- BA/BS in accounting or related field
- 5+ years of relevant accounting, audit, or financial statement experience
- Prior supervisory experience
Preferred qualifications:
- CPA certification or exams passed
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.
- Strong organizational, communication, and client management skills
