Location: While this position is located in New York City, you must be open to traveling up to 50% for client meetings and reside in the USA. Candidates located within 25 miles of a DXC office will be required to work onsite 23 times per week.
About the RoleProvide visionary leadership to the Consulting Services team, guiding their professional growth and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Financial Services and Insurance industry. Understand their business and technology challenges, collaborate on solutions, and ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with the team to create business case justification for clients to move forward with the innovative, tailored solutions you develop.
Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas within existing client accounts. Playing leading role in value proposition and proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
Contribute to the strategic vision of the Consulting Services business as well as the overall Consulting and Engineering Services division, leveraging industry insights to position the company as a technology consulting leader.
Contribute to the oversight of the financial performance of the division, managing budgets and ensuring project profitability while maintaining client value.
Collaborate across the DXC ecosystem to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and service delivery.
Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and publications, establishing thought leadership in the technology consulting space.
Key ResponsibilitiesBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role in consulting.
Proven experience: Significant experience in consulting with a history of successful complex projects.
Proven experience: Articulating the value and plan to deliver application transformation.
Proficiencies: Thorough knowledge of consulting methodologies, financial services, and insurance industry trends, and technology.
A continuous learner that stays abreast with financial services and insurance industry knowledge and technology.
Other QualificationsAdvanced degree in a relevant field is a plus (e.g., MBA).
Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Six Sigma are a plus.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,100 - $195,200.
