Manager - Client Strategy Digital
Reporting directly to the Director of Client Strategy, the Manager of Client Strategy will play a key role between the agency and group of high-value clients. Taking a consultative approach, this position will be responsible for managing client strategy and execution to drive client growth and retention with a focus on integrating digital channel expertise, particularly across search and social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development of strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to help achieve goals.
- Manage clients to drive in-depth assessments, identification and confirmation of key business objectives, KPIs and more.
- Support the development, execution, and management of comprehensive and integrated media strategies and recommendations that align with clients' growth goals.
- Work closely with the Investment Department to ensure alignment of strategic direction and delivery.
- Explore media alternatives and develop and execute media solutions.
- Collaborate with internal Data Science teams to provide additional insights and identify scaling opportunities.
- Support the action of data insights, subject matter expertise, best practices and agency resources to develop and manage the implementation and execution of strategies.
- Manage weekly performance reviews and prepare presentations.
- Oversee media plans, budget maintenance, and client billing.
- With Data Science, Product, Engineering, manage execution of onboarding/implementation and management of agency measurement platform and data strategy.
- Support internal communication between all groups.
- Support management of agency client and team P&L in conjunction with overarching agency billing and revenue goals.
- Collaborate and work cross functionally with other areas of the agency and partners.
- Manage directs by providing guidance, setting goals, and ensuring team members are aligned with agency's vision.
- Develop and oversee paid search and paid social media strategies, ensuring they are aligned with broader campaign goals and performance targets.
- Provide strategic guidance on channel mix, investment allocation, audience segmentation, and creative optimization across search and social platforms.
- Perform frequent data analyses with larger data sets to extract patterns and trends to report out on.
- Manage weekly performance reviews, prepare presentations, and deliver digital channel insights and optimization recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4-7+ years Agency experience required at internal strategy group, external marketing/business consultancy, omni channel ad agency, role in marketing managing brand and business growth.
- High level of experience and comfort with quantitative concepts; ability to understand data, drive insights and communicate (what, how and whys) to clients, internal teams, etc. This is not a classic technical role, but numeracy and comfort with data is a must
- Ability to effectively migrate between strategy, tactics and execution
- Extremely strong personal organization and attention to executional detail
- Deep knowledge of media (traditional and digital channels) and marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; this is a client-facing role demanding clarity, concision, and ability to communicate clear strategic narratives
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint / Google Slides skills are required

- Proactive and resourceful self-starter, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment; and must be a team player
- Proven experience managing paid search and paid social campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn), including optimization and measurement best practices
- Proficiency in data analytics software (Tableau, Looker Studio, Mixpanel, etc.) and CRM/CRO solutions (Customer.io, Unbounce, etc.)
- Ability to manage and structure large file volumes via different DAM solutions
