Assumes 24-hour responsibility for overall operation of assigned areas. Collaborates with the Director of Cardiovascular Services in the management of services within the department. Plans, organizes, directs, maintains, and evaluates patient care and unit activities within established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Communicates policies/procedures and departmental/ Hospital information to staff, physicians, and customers. Maintains the integrity of the service to meet all accreditation and licensure requirements. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in clinically related field or business, or current enrollment in a bachelor s program from an accredited college or university. One to three years of experience performing diagnostic cardiology tests. Preferred Qualifications One to three years of progressively more responsible management experience.
