Job Description

Seeking a Senior Business Planning Manager with exceptional communication, organizational, and strategic leadership skills. The ideal candidate will operate independently, adhere to State and Departmental procedures, and possess deep knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 through 5, F.A.C.

The selected candidate will:

• Ensure alignment of planned technology with Client's strategic vision and FDOT business needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify business goals and ensure current and proposed technologies support those objectives.
• Evaluate the impacts of technology proposals, assess risks, and support statewide technology planning.

The role requires significant expertise in:

• Resource and demand management
• Business intelligence and data management tools
• Managing cross-functional and large-scale initiatives
• Building strong relationships with business stakeholders
• Providing strategic consulting and analysis for key IT programs and initiatives

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a Finance-related field
• OR equivalent professional experience (year-for-year substitution)

Scrum Master Certification required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of IT and business experience across technical and business environments.
• Experience managing teams in strategic planning, infrastructure, and operational support.
• Proven history of successful collaboration within public sector IT organizations.
• Ability to share real-world examples of using business process tools to achieve impactful results.
