Specific Job Summary Reporting to the Director, Brand Strategy and Management, the Manager, Brand Management supports both short-term and long-term planning, execution, and optimization of integrated brand campaign plans. The Manager is primarily responsible for supporting brand awareness across channels. This role also reviews communications across functions to ensure brand positioning and key messages are aligned and the brand is brought to life consistently. Specific Expected Contributions Gathers quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Responds to, solves, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited risk. Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff. Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:Identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes. Serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution. Participating in setting department operating plans. Managing project budgets, schedules and timely delivery. Establishing priorities for self and, where appropriate, others. Allocating own time effectively to meet goals in a manner that does not disadvantage other associates or groups. Contributing to department/unit budget as appropriate (i.e., input, following guidelines, etc.). Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge. Partners closely with internal teams for expertise and to meet deliverables across functions: Global Creative and Delivery, Global Content and Social Team, Digital Teams, Public Relations, and Internal Communications to ensure pull through and activation to all channel touchpoints in alignment with brand vision and strategy. Develops and articulates easily understood and cohesive presentations that distill marketing research and data to communicate distinctively. Supports the roll-out & implementation of global brand programs, tools & dashboards. Writes clear, concise briefs that communicate business objectives and industry challenges. Shows deep understanding of brand positioning, products, services and programs. Develops brand training materials that bring our brands to life. Advocates for brand standards through consistent and accurate representation across audiences and touchpoints. Provides regular updates on programs and initiatives and progress to plan. Anticipates bottlenecks to achieving team goals and provide escalation management when needed. Performs other reasonable job duties as requested. Specific Candidate Profile Education Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Experience 4+ years of experience working at a brand strategy agency or in-house within a brand team. Experience working in highly cross-functional organizations, collaborating with creative, research, measurement, and marketing counterparts, where influence as well as direct responsibility are equally important. Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality or Travel industry preferred, but not required. Skills/Attributes Possess a strong balance of critical thinking, creative aptitude, project management, and people skills. Demonstrated ability to think critically and handle details with accuracy. Ability to prioritize and ensure key initiatives move forward, managing programs at the same time, and working with multiple internal and external teams through execution. Ability to support the build an emerging brand with multiple products. Ability to support the launch of new brand identity systems. Ability to support the strategic planning and creative development process. Expertise interpreting and deciphering quantitative and qualitative data and distilling insights. Demonstrated ability to understand consumer trends along with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans. Ability to act as a primary liaison between other cross-functional teams to support company growth strategy. Proven ability to be extremely organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to work successfully in a culturally diverse work environment. Computer literacy on Microsoft Office products, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. Ability to travel on occasion, if necessary.
