What Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health?

Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems, and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives. Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

We currently have a need for a Manager of Order to Cash for Pharmaceutical IT! This role will be accountable for delivery and maintenance of the Pharma SAP OTC functions as part of SAP Center of Excellence including current, recently added, and the expansion of new businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage the Order to Cash functionality supporting the Pharma business segment.
  • Ensure IT controls, SOX compliance, and address audit findings in OTC functional areas of SAP Pharma platform.
  • Lead in IT service delivery, strategy alignment, and stakeholder management.
  • Own solutions for incidents, defects, enhancements, and new builds for OTC.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and business process changes.
  • Follow strategic directions and execute on priority goals.
  • Estimate efforts, prepare proposals, and collaborate with functional partners for solutions.
  • Drive end-user satisfaction using specific metrics.
  • Influence clients to leverage out-of-the-box solutions and reduce customizations.
  • Plan, monitor, organize, and oversee projects.
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understand business needs deeply and focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Identify synergies and optimization opportunities within the domain.
  • Provide leadership during problem-solving and crisis management.
  • Collaborate with other process tower leaders to ensure cohesive solutions.
  • Lead prioritization meetings with OTC functional partners.
  • Monitor OTC processes and automate recurrent incidents.
  • Lead, coach, and cross-train SD functional consultants.
  • Work with infrastructure teams for reliable operations.
  • Ensure adoption of solution discovery, documentation, Hypercare, and transition to support.
  • Support Vertex 6.0 Tax Software and related applications.
  • Manage SAP integration with ordering channels and associated applications.
  • Monitor KPIs and BPM metrics for SAP Pharma business units.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 12+ years' experience in SAP OTC Build/Run preferred.
  • Experience with full-cycle SAP OTC implementation.
  • Knowledge of SAP OTC solutions, discovery, analysis, and build guidance.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Business acumen in pharmaceutical wholesale distribution.
  • Deep knowledge of OTC processes and technology.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA, Vistex, and related modules is a plus.
  • Proficiency with SAP methodologies like ASAP and Agile.
  • Experience managing onsite and offshore teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing projects and resources.
  • Additional skills such as SAP pricing, WMS, and interface management are advantageous.

Anticipated salary range: $121,600.00 - $173,700.00
