OverviewWe are seeking a Manager of Accounting Transformation to lead and execute impactful change initiatives across the accounting organization. This role will focus on optimizing processes, driving automation (including RPA), and aligning finance operations with evolving business needs. If you are passionate about transformation, process efficiency, and leveraging technology to improve accounting systems—this is the role for you.You'll work closely with cross-functional leaders and lead transformation efforts that include automation, system enhancements, and ERP initiatives. This role requires a hands-on, process-driven professional who brings balance across finance, systems, and project leadership.Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting transformation initiatives focused on automation, ERP enhancements, and process optimization
• Implement RPA solutions (preferably with UiPath or similar) with a hands-on approach
• Drive ERP implementation projects and improvements; current system is PeopleSoft
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess and address 180+ accounting process pain points
• Oversee change management, including stakeholder alignment and training
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX standards
• Translate business goals into actionable transformation strategies
• Deliver measurable improvements in accounting efficiency and system performance

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• 3+ years of experience in leadership or project management roles
• Hands-on RPA implementation experience (not just buzzword familiarity)
• ERP implementation experience within a finance/accounting context
• Strong project management and change management skills
• Comfortable working with large-scale finance operations and shared services
• Adept at balancing technical knowledge with accounting and process acumen
• Proven ability to communicate transformation strategy and gain buy-in
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting systems
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus
