Come join the Intuit VEP (Virtual Expert Platform) Team. VEP connects customers with expert guidance across products like QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma. We drive a multi-billion-dollar Services business, enhance Customer Success through AI and human expertise, and provide Sales technology to connect with prospects and customers. We own the entire technology stack and collaborate closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Operations to create seamless experiences.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager 2, Software Engineering to lead a team in developing complex and large-scale software systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of Fullstack technologies, and a proven track record of delivering customer impact. They will also possess operational excellence and a passion for building high-performing teams.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on large-scale systems.

  • Explore AI and automation technologies, including AI-powered autoscaling.
  • Foster operational excellence focusing on system stability and incident response.
  • Take ownership of team deliverables and outcomes.
  • Remove barriers to enable fast progress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and operations.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with pay-for-performance rewards. The expected base pay range in Southern California is $200,500 - $271,000. The position is eligible for bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits as per company plans. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location, with ongoing pay equity practices.
