We are searching for skilled and experienced Major Components Technician with solid experience working with on wind turbines and who can conduct heavy rigging operations to facilitate replacement components. This role requires in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in handling various types of maintenance and diagnosing issues to ensure optimal functionality of wind turbines. We are seeking experienced Wind Turbine Technicians with knowledge from a variety of platforms. In this position, you must be able to repair mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair significant corrective operational issues on utility-sized wind turbines per the project description.
- Conduct heavy rigging operations to facilitate replacement components. such has main bearings, drive shafts, generators, and rotor swaps.
- Ability to call a conventional crane.
- Perform all major component exchanges in accordance with specified procedures.
- Perform repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical component replacements to correct malfunctions.
- Properly utilize and maintain all mandated safety equipment.
- Represent the company culture of safety, quality, and integrity daily.
- Comply with all safety rules in accordance with company, customer, and government regulations and guidelines.
- Exhibit positive, courteous behavior with customers, contractors, suppliers, and co-workers.
- Accurately complete and submit required service reports, timecards, expense reports, and other required company reports in a timely manner for the onsite team.

Requirements
- Two years of experience doing major corrective work
- Fundamental electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills
- Ability to read and understand schematics by various wind turbine manufacturers
- Ability to climb 300 feet or more regularly
- Completion of all required training in a satisfactory manner and timeframe
- Ability to lead and participate in on-the-job training with on-site personnel
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Ability to Regularly work 50+ hours a week
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to travel for up to 6 weeks at a time
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to work in inclement weather
Education:
- High School Diploma
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, and Tower Rescue certificates preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
