Maintenance Technician -Off Shift

Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machines and facility systems.

Respond to emergency repairs and perform unscheduled maintenance on production and facility equipment.

Conduct skilled manual work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and infrastructure systems.

Perform daily and scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on facility and test bench equipment.

Oversee work performed by OEM technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with site policies.

Maintain working knowledge of plant systems including PLCs, VFDs, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and fuel/water delivery systems.

Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.

Advise and assist operators on safe equipment usage and procedures.

Communicate potential issues and safety hazards to appropriate personnel.

Support installation and decommissioning of equipment, general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, etc.

Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces in compliance with safety regulations.

Support maintenance and production with special projects as needed.

Promote and uphold a compliance-focused culture and adhere to the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.

Basic Requirements:

Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 3+ years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment. OR Completion of an apprenticeship or training program and 5+ years of technician experience in manufacturing.

Preferred:

Proficiency in multiple disciplines: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and machining.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic blueprints and schematics.

Hands-on experience with welding, pipe fitting, lubrication systems, and use of manual machining tools.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, LOTO procedures, and compliance with regulations.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes, raw materials, quality control, and cost optimization.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.

Willingness and ability to work the assigned off-shift and adjust as needed.

Bachelor's or associate degree focused in mechanical or electrical disciplines

Certification or strong working knowledge of industrial HVAC systems.

Experience with heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturing

Familiarity with Rolls-Royce Solutions America products, processes, and standards.

Must be flexible to work overtime and/or adjust shift patterns as production needs change. Shift hours will be 8:00PM-6:30 AM (Sunday-Wednesday)
