The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the reliability of manufacturing systems.Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and support production setup activities.
- Use various hand tools and power equipment to repair or install components.
- Interpret and follow electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMI, sensors, and 3-phase power systems.
- Operate powered industrial trucks and machining tools such as lathes and mills.
- Support general services such as HVAC, welding, and fabrication as needed.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Train new maintenance team members as necessary.
- Perform assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability for some weekend work and overtime as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair (including PLCs, VFDs, sensors, 3-phase power)
- Mechanical maintenance (including pneumatic and hydraulic systems)
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be safety-conscious and organized.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a related technical field.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement environments.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday with weekends and overtime as needed
