Maintenance Technician - Cobleskill Value Added PlantIrving Forest Products, Inc, a growing company on the leading edge of technology in the forest products industry.We are currently in need of a Maintenance Technician. We are looking for safety oriented, energetic individuals to join our team!Compensation:

• Competitive wages $1000-$1200 per week

Qualifications:

• Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's Degree
• Years of Experience Required: 3+ years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment. Wood products experience is desirable.
• The successful applicants will have experience working with stationary equipment used in some type of production process.
• They would have the ability to work in a team environment that is committed to working safe, while focused on improving production and maintaining quality standards.
• Previous sawmill experience and welding certification are assets.
• Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Active driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment
• Machine troubleshooting, repair, assembly, preventative maintenance
• Reading blueprint and sketches proficiently to fabricate equipment and make modifications.
• Repair or replace chains; belt conveyors; gear boxes/drive chains; hydraulics & pneumatics; welding/cutting; and using power tools.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• Work schedule involves: 12-hour shifts, on-call and weekend shared duties.
