Hourly Pay: $17hr-$20hrSchedule: Mon-Fri 7am-4pmJob SummaryOur client is currently searching for an Office Porter / Maintenance Technician to work at their corporate office in the central Florida area.ResponsibilitiesCleaning and Maintenance: responsible for keeping the premises clean and well-maintained. Minor repairs or maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs or fixing small plumbing issues.Facility Setup: assist in setting up rooms or spaces for events, conferences, or meetings.Safety and Security: Help ensure the safety and security of the premises. Monitor the premises for any suspicious activities, report any security breaches or hazards, and follow safety protocols.Supply Management: May be responsible for managing and replenishing supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, or office materials. They may keep track of inventory levels, place orders, and restock supplies as needed.Outdoor Maintenance: Additional responsibilities related to outdoor areas. This can include tasks like maintaining parking lots, sidewalks, or garden areas by removing debris, clearing snow, or watering plants.QualificationsPrior experience as a facilities' technician, maintenance technician, or Porter. General understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing systems 2+ years of experience in the field Professional demeanor and passion for improving properties This role requires extended periods of time working outside, in the Florida heat. Candidates must have an understanding that the majority of work performed is not indoors.
