Position Summary:
This role involves performing various maintenance duties, including preventative, emergency, cosmetic, and routine maintenance, along with inspections. The work emphasizes safety, physical effort, troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, customer service, and time management.
- Respond to work orders, coordinate with residents and management.
- Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and performed timely.
- Conduct cosmetic and routine maintenance across the community.
- Handle unit turnovers and prepare for new move-ins, meeting deadlines.
- Perform move-in and move-out inspections.
- Conduct quarterly inspections with preventative maintenance.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and masonry repairs and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor work with the Property Manager.
- Be on-call for emergency maintenance during off-hours and weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to function in an on-call capacity.
- Require basic math and computer skills; fluency in English; bilingual skills a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in apartment development or similar.
- Knowledge of REAC and other regulatory inspections is a plus.
Pay Range: $26.00/Hr. - $29.00/Hr.
