Location: Fort Madison, Iowa Hours: 2nd shift

Pay: 29$ hourly

Job Duties

• Dismantles, repairs, assembles, installs, and sets up technical equipment and machines used in a production site.
• Plans and executes assigned maintenance projects independently.
• Analyzes technical problems on site and completes mechanical and/or electrical repairs and work orders.
• Executes ramp-up, setup, and start procedures to prepare machines and equipment for operations.
• Contributes to installation projects on site and supports accountable Industrial Engineers.
• Supports maintenance of technical documentation for processes and equipment.
• May provide technical advice to junior staff.
• May maintain various types of equipment.

Production Responsibilities

• Operates a defined number of specialized machines and equipment.
• May include prescribed CNC programming (e.g., setting parameters) to set up machines for production.

Assembly Responsibilities

• Requires theoretical knowledge and procedural understanding to operate in qualified assembly processes.
• Uses a variety of tools and machines during the assembly process.
• Assembly work is generally repetitive and routine.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year vocational training program.
• Up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field, gained through structured vocational training.
