Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift - STERIS Corporation : Job Details

The position of Maintenance Technician is a hands-on position, that provides technical expertise and participates in the maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance of facility equipment to reduce downtime while increasing operational efficiency in a validated, cGMP environment. This equipment includes machinery, buildings, computer systems, control systems, safety, and security systems. Additionally, this position includes responsibility for maintaining shop tools, inventory, and keeping the departments CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) updated all while adhering to Lean and 5 S principles. This position will also be required to support after hours emergency response activities on an as needed basis. In addition, this position assists with the development and maintaining of parts inventory systems.
