*What You Will Do*
* Be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and effectiveness of the multi-craft maintenance technician; assuring appropriate staffing levels, coverage, and other practical matters * Manage Employee Relations, including management of related administrative duties such as payroll, vacation, attendance, performance evaluations, personal target setting, training, and work schedules * Maintain manufacturing facilities, utilities, and equipment in good condition through planned maintenance, predictive maintenance and repairs * Work closely with the Maintenance Planner, Team Leader, and production staff leadership to ensure maintenance activities (planned WOs, PMs, projects) are completed in a timely manner * Enable and promote CI-activity within Maintenance with the goal of utilizing reliability centered maintenance to achieve a world class maintenance department * Be responsible for storeroom technician and spare parts inventory so as to minimize lost production time, and inventory costs * Provide afterhours support as needed to maintenance staff and occasionally assist or train maintenance technicians through hands on” repairs of equipment
*Who You Are*
* You have a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate's degree in engineering technology or a related discipline * You have 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in the paper or converting industry * You have experience supervising a team of 10–20 individuals * You understand effective maintenance of a wide range of equipment, including highly automated and technologically advanced machinery * You have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and maintenance diagrams * You have experience with: Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)* You have excellent communication skills and relate well to a wide range of constituents. * You are able to function well as a member of a team * You have previous experience with Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies (preferred)
