This is a critical leadership role supporting a fast-paced production environment responsible for assembling over a million HVAC units annually for some of the biggest brands in the industry.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of skilled maintenance technicians
  • Interview, train, and evaluate team members; provide coaching and development
  • Assign and manage daily work orders and long-term projects to support production goals
  • Ensure equipment availability, reliability, and safety standards are met or exceeded
  • Use CMMS to manage repair histories, PMs, parts inventory, and work orders
  • Lead compliance efforts with OSHA, ISO, company procedures, and union agreements
  • Work closely with engineering and operations on capital projects and process improvements
  • Develop predictive maintenance strategies using data analysis and modern tools
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, uptime, and efficiency

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance supervision (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance practices
  • Hands-on familiarity with CMMS systems and preventative/predictive maintenance planning
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and technical projects
  • Solid understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and quality systems (ISO)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills in a union or non-union environment

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Be part of a large, growing manufacturing operation—Wichita's largest non-aircraft manufacturing site
  • Contribute to the success of globally recognized HVAC brands
  • Enjoy a people-first culture with competitive pay, performance bonuses, and top-tier benefits
  • Relocation or sign-on incentives available for the right candidate
