MAINTENANCE & PROJECT DIRECTOR

FPC Bangor is working with a manufacturing facility, looking for a Maintenance & Project Director. The Maintenance & Project Director manages and oversees the Maintenance Supervisor, who is responsible for coordinating activities of workers engaged in servicing and repair of various facility and transportation equipment. In addition, this position organizes, manages, and plans facility projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet objectives, stay within budget, and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing project plans, including scope, timelines, and resources with assistance from others when appropriate.
• Coordinating team activities and managing resources to achieve project goals.
• Coordinating contractor activities and managing resources to achieve project goals.
• Tracking project progress, performance, and budget adherence.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Tracking project progress, performance, and budget adherence.
• Managing and providing support to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Supporting Food Safety and Quality Management objectives.
• Working with key managers to develop and implement an annual prioritized capital expenditure plan for the facility, incorporating the recommendations of all company departments.

Requirements:

Engineering degree; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in heavy manufacturing preferred.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
