This position is a discretionary position. This position is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment throughout the plant. Responsibilities: Complete preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, and cylinders. Install and maintain utility equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and cooling towers. Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical equipment. Change out and setup equipment. Complete prefabrication related tasks and run machine shop equipment. Keep all work areas clean. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements. Perform all positions of job rotation as needed. Perform any other work as assigned by management. Requirements: Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
