Maintenance Mechanic - Genentech : Job Details

As a Maintenance Specialist, you will maintain, assemble, install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic devices on pharmaceutical production equipment. Lead or assist on major equipment overhauls and testing, repairs, and installations. Advance troubleshooting of pumps, motors, valves, actuators, gears, piping and pneumatic systems, conveyors and robotics. Maintain and optimize mechanical drive trains and vacuum generation & distribution systems. Utilize 3 D cad programs to design parts and fabricate the parts using a typical machinist tools (lathe, mill, etc.) including 3 D printing. Welding activities including stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel. You will lead or assist with preventative maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and installations of advanced equipment. Provide support to engineering and operations in the design, installation, testing, operation and maintenance of packaging, inspection and manufacturing equipment.
