Overview:

A leading food and beverage manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset for managing maintenance programs and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and effective maintenance of processing, packaging, and facility equipment to reduce production downtime.
  • Lead and supervise skilled maintenance personnel, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and inspecting completed work.
  • Collaborate on planning and execution of maintenance budgets, including capital and extraordinary maintenance projects.
  • Foster a culture of safety, productivity, and quality through effective team leadership and operational oversight.
  • Support and promote food safety and quality assurance initiatives throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Familiarity with fiscal budgeting and project management.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience with food processing and packaging equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven leadership experience.
