Maintenance Manager Role

The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role within our manufacturing plant, supporting our production team to drive production while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. This position leads the Maintenance Mechanic team, mentoring staff to minimize downtime, implement and manage TPMs, oversee CAPEX projects, and ensure compliance with all guidelines.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programs we deliver for our customers.

Job Description
  • Responsible for development and coaching of all Technicians and Admin staff.
  • Implement and maintain TPM initiatives.
  • Develop and implement KPIs for the department.
  • Manage maintenance vendors, ensuring work is validated, negotiated, and supports company initiatives.
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives with the production team.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain and complete documentation following OSHA and EPA regulations (e.g., logs, records, checklists).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of related experience with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification or equivalent.
