Description
Direct actions to facilitate the day-to-day operations of the department and the plant.
· Lead/ facilitate Maintenance Tier 1 meeting
· Lead Tier 2/ Daily Board Review (Daily)
· Participate in Tier 3 meeting
· Participate in Weekly Staff meeting
· Drive actions to improve Lean, TPM, and 5S culture in the department
· Monitor WIP, SPI, and Raw Material (Continuous), Spare Parts
· Establish schedules/ Manpower (as required), monitor shortfalls, and establish RTG actions
· Review Supervisors' standard work
· Coordinate with all departments to facilitate throughput
· Approve requisitions
· Manage department budgets
· Maintain visual control over CI Boards
· Oversee/ Improve Preventive Maintenance and Calibration programs
· Oversight of all Purchasing activities
· Responsible for Stockroom personnel, Maintenance/Purchasing Coordinators
· Drive all actions to improve Employee Engagement
o Approve merit increases
o Complete/ Drive employee evaluations
o Initiate/ Drive employee recognition
o Monitor/ Evaluate department training needs
· Responsible for plant project engineering
· Maintain and update Risk Management plan for the plant
· Create plant CERs
· Ensure DHEC compliance via
o Groundwater/ wastewater
o Air Permits
o Lab Certification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
